Tag on Tag!

Hi everyone! Sunday once again and I am here to share my creation for Jay Gee's Nook...this also the start of a new challenge over at Jay Gee's so be sure to check out the blog to not only view the details of the challenge but the awesome DT projects.

I was totally inspired by not only the inspiration board that I created, which you can view below..

I was also inspired my Keisha Campbell, this lady is super talented, I have been following her for awhile now and every time she creates something my jaw just drops to the ground...

I was so inspired by some of the tags that she creates, and I knew for the current challenge I wanted to create something along the lines of what Keisha creates...the tag below inspired me incredibly...

Here is my take on the inspiration board and Keisha's tag...





Lots of white on white with embossing...trimming two lots of card stock and creating two tags, the larger of the two, I embossed background basics retro, from Papertrey Ink with Metallic Copper embossing powder, leaving a white section at the top. On the smaller tag, I stamped one of the decorative lamps from Hero Arts, with silver embossing powder, adding string to the top of both tags, adhering the smaller one to the larger tag. Finishing the card off by adding a sentiment, adhering the tag to a trimmed white card that had corners rounded and lastly, rhinestones.

I am not sure that I created the card how I wanted but well at least it was fun trying...
